Its veining runs from cream to pale amber and differs on every single lamp, so yours will not look like anyone else's; lit from inside, the stone itself appears to glow rather than showing you a bulb. Below it, a squat base in mottled antique-bronze aluminum borrows its shape, and its small side knob, from the old oil lamps this design remembers.
